A clump-forming perennial with a truly unique, almost tropical, look. Red, nodding bell-shaped flowers hang from crown of leaves reminiscent of a pineapple top. The tall, upright stem is intriguingly dark purple and bare for the most part, but nestles into a cradle of sword-like leaves. Plants grow to 90cm (36") tall. They are deer resistant and may deter squirrels and moles. This mid-spring flowering stunner is great for naturalizing. 1 per pack.
